Support Our Programs

We are so grateful to our volunteers and partners who help our programs succeed!

We designed our Learning Lab Program and Mentorship Initiative to continuously build up the next generation of leaders. Your support will sustain our programs and serve even more youth as we continue to expand into our Texas communities.

Community Initiatives

In addition to our programs, we work with our community partners to strengthen and sustain their initiatives which align with our mission.

I Got Your Back - Annual Back-to-School Prep Event

We partner with Bridgebuilders in South Dallas to co-host their annual event that prepares students and their families for the upcoming school year. In addition to school supplies, we provide community resources, haircuts and styling, manicures, and more - ensuring that students walk into the school year with dignity with all the necessities.

We hosted a fall festival for the Bonton community in our first year of partnership with Bridgebuilders. It was such a success, we decided to combine the school prep event with a community block party as a way to show our Bonton friends some love.

Together with Bridgebuilders and our partners, we served about 400 students with school supply packs and had an estimated 500+ residents in attendance for the community block party at our last event! Additionally, a record number of volunteers showed up to help us strengthen this community.

South Dallas Driving Academy

The South Dallas Driving Academy (SDDA) was born out of the realization that only 35% of residents in this community have access to reliable transportation due to barriers of living in an under-resourced area. Opportunities to succeed outside of the community are greatly reduced without access to quality transportation.

This program provides students and adults with the opportunity to earn a Class C driver’s license by removing those barriers. SDDA then provides additional pathways through its trucking industry partners and others as its mission expands.

We are proud to partner with SDDA and support this life-changing program.
