Our First Down Initiative was created to encourage High School athletes to use their love and talent for the game to go beyond the field of play

This mentorship program aims to provide these young men and women with tools to broaden their opportunities by introducing them to various pathways in sport, business, and the trades. “First Down” will begin with 4 interactive sessions led by some pretty cool professionals and end with a summer job shadowing program with one of our community Partners.

Participation in CEOC’s “First Down” offers students an unparalleled experience to develop skills in critical thinking, strategy, and problem-solving. It is our goal that with each session, the student-athletes advance with great momentum, expand their vision, and discover new possibilities for the future!

Interactive sessions include:

  • Professional Etiquette
  • Role vs. Identity
  • Financial Literacy
  • Social Media Presence & Safety
  • Resumé Building/HR Panels
