Super Bowl Charity Brunch Fundraiser
Our first fundraiser of 2022 was a tremendous success! We started off strong with an amazing Super Bowl Charity Brunch at Baltaire in LA, giving CEOC its official national nonprofit status.
We were honored to be joined by special guests Terry Crews and Tom Colicchio; our board members; partners and top executives at NBC; and NFL Legends.
When our guests arrived, they enjoyed a delicious brunch, mingled, and participated in our raffle and silent auction. CEOC Chairman Linda Yaccarino and President Scott Turner shared more about CEOC and what it means to be a true partner to our organization, as well as how we are planning to improve impoverished communities in 2022 and beyond by providing access to sustainable resources and opportunities that will provide both immediate and generational impact. They also highlighted what our CEOC team has accomplished in just 8 short months with the help of our partners – we built a solid foundation, surpassed our 2021 fundraising goals, and made an immediate impact in the South Dallas Bonton community.
Scott had also rallied the former NFL players in attendance – including himself, Troy Vincent, Bobby Taylor, Terry Crews, Leonard Wheeler, and Mike Rucker – to sign a helmet and football for an impromptu live auction! These two items contributed to our fundraising efforts in a very meaningful way.
Those who attended helped us raise a significant amount of money in our first fundraiser of the year! Contributions will go toward our 2022 initiatives that include a driver’s license program in South Dallas, the building of two more literacy labs (at minimum!), and other plans to improve and revitalize under-resourced communities across America.
